Take Charge of Your Financial Picture
Most people don't actually know where they stand financially. Not really. They've got a rough idea about what's in their bank account, maybe what they owe on the house. But the full picture? That's often fuzzy at best.
Our net worth calculation programme gives you clarity. You'll learn how to track what you own, what you owe, and most importantly – how those numbers change over time. Because that's what matters.

Why Net Worth Calculation Matters
Here's something I've noticed working with hundreds of Australians over the years – people will spend ages comparing phone plans to save twenty dollars a month, but they can't tell you if their overall financial position improved last year.
Net worth calculation isn't complicated maths. It's simple subtraction: assets minus liabilities. But doing it consistently, understanding what the number means, and using it to guide decisions? That's where real financial awareness begins.
You don't need a finance degree. You need a system that works and the discipline to stick with it.
What You'll Actually Learn
Asset Identification
Learn to catalog everything you own – from obvious things like property and super, to stuff people often miss like equipment, shares, or that old car sitting in the garage.
Liability Tracking
Get clear on what you owe. Mortgages, credit cards, personal loans, HECS debt – we'll show you how to track it all without losing your mind in spreadsheets.
Quarterly Reviews
The magic happens when you check in regularly. We teach you a simple quarterly review process that takes about an hour but keeps you on track all year.
Trend Analysis
Numbers mean more when you compare them. You'll learn to spot patterns in your financial data and understand what they're telling you about your habits.
Goal Setting
Once you know where you are, you can figure out where you're going. We help you set realistic targets based on your actual starting point, not fantasy numbers.
Decision Framework
Should you pay down debt or invest? Buy or rent? Your net worth data becomes a tool for making these calls with confidence instead of guesswork.

Real Guidance from Someone Who's Been There
Tabitha's background is in financial counseling, but she'll tell you herself – she started out terrible with money. Impulse purchases, zero savings, that familiar cycle of stress every time a bill arrived.
What changed? She started tracking her net worth. Not obsessively, just consistently. Four times a year, every quarter, sit down and do the calculation. After about eighteen months, she noticed the trend line finally pointing up instead of sideways.
That experience shapes how she teaches. No judgment, no financial jargon that makes you feel stupid, just practical methods that work for real people with messy financial lives.
How the Programme Works
We run this as a twelve-week online course starting in September 2025. You'll spend about three hours per week on coursework – video lessons, practical exercises, and group discussions with other participants.
The first few weeks focus on building your initial net worth statement. You'll gather documents, learn our tracking system, and create your baseline calculation. Sounds boring, but it's actually pretty satisfying once you see everything laid out clearly.
Middle weeks cover maintenance and analysis. How to update your statement efficiently, what changes to watch for, how to interpret shifts in your numbers.
Final weeks are about integration – using your net worth data to inform real financial decisions. We work through case studies and you'll apply the framework to your own situation.
All sessions are recorded, so if you miss one live, you can catch up. Materials stay accessible for six months after the course ends.
Ready to See Where You Actually Stand?
The September 2025 intake opens for registration in July. If you're tired of that nagging feeling that you should probably understand your finances better, this is your starting point.
Not sure if it's right for you? Check out some projects from past participants to see what people actually build with these skills.
What Past Participants Say
"I thought I'd find the calculations tedious, but there's something weirdly satisfying about seeing all your finances in one place. After three quarters of tracking, I finally understood why my savings weren't growing – too much sitting in low-interest accounts. Made some changes, and six months later, my net worth increased by twelve thousand. Not life-changing money, but definitely heading in the right direction now."
